Another great weekend meeting the voters of Warren County. We even met a Hollywood superstar.

I hope that all of you are enjoying your summer. Another great weekend to live in the Adirondacks. Wanda and I spent another fantastic weekend supporting various events, causes and communities in our attempt to meet as many of the voters of Warren County as possible. Saturday we started our day celebrating the 40 Anniversary of the Glens Falls Farmers Market. We left with quite the stash of goodies. We then were able to celebrate the grand opening of the "Eagle Flyer" with the Macchio family, Senator Elizabeth Little, Mayor Robert Blais, and many of our Warren County Supervisors at the Wild West Ranch. What an exciting looking ride. Wanda, I and the boys can't wait to give it a try. Wanda and I were even able to get our picture taken with the talented actor, Ralph Macchio, and his father. Favorite Macchio movie? My Cousin Vinny. We then headed up to Queensbury to show our support for the Johnathan R. Vasiliou Foundation's Zombie Gauntlet 5k and Touch a Truck. John was a reserved and mild-mannered kid who is greatly missed by many. We also had the pleasure of celebrating the grand opening of the new skate park in Lake George. Congratulations to Mayor Blais, Tim Goutos and all of the other local kids who made this a reality. Tim said it best "this is living proof that as a kid, if you want something, go about it the right way and work hard, you can do it." For lunch we travelled to Diamond Point for the "Taste of Diamond Point". The food was unbelievable! After spending some time at a graduation party we met some friends in Chestertown for dinner.
