Rob spending time with his "little brother" and teaching him some history.

Although it was a scorcher today, my little and I had a great time at the Hague Memorial Day parade Saturday. A lot of great floats and a huge turnout. We were both amazed at how many men and women from Hague sacrificed their lives for our country.

Rob and Wanda supporting Family, Friends, Pets and Cancer survivors.

What an amazing day. We started the day by watching the Queensbury Varsity Lacrosse team beat Columbia. I was also able to watch our son Owen referee some youth lacrosse games. Abby and I then headed to the Downtown Pet Fest to meet with some of her friends. Some were big, some were small, all were cute. We finished our day by walking in the Relay for Life at SUNY Adirondack. We walked in memory of my mom and grandma, and in honor of my father and father-in law and all cancer victims and survivors. Thank you to everyone who came out today to support all of these great community events.

Happy Armed Forces Day.

A huge heartfelt thank you to all of the men and women of our Armed Forces. Thank you for all that you do for our Country. "With courage and honor, our men and women in uniform embody the everlasting responsibility we have to each other and to future generations by giving of themselves to ensure the preservation of our Republic and secure peace throughout the world. It is because of them and the values they represent that people across the globe look to the United States of America in moments of desperation and despair. For the relief they offer, the stability they provide, and the hope they inspire, we owe our service members an extraordinary debt -- one we will never stop working to repay." Part of President Obama's Armed Forces Day Proclamation for 2016.

Rob and Wanda honoring a local hero!

It was an honor and privilege for Wanda and I to attend the 6th Annual Baskets for Ben Friday night at Mean Max Brew Works. A wonderful event for a local hero. The Ben Osborn Memorial Fund's mission and hope is that the "values being learned such as: a charitable heart, work ethic, sportsmanship, leadership, discipline, and pride will be encouraged and passed on through Ben's legacy." Pretty good mission and hope. Their goal, is similar to what mine as a Family Court Judge would be, to "give kids a little lift".

Rob and Wanda supporting many local causes.

After loading up with some goodies from the Farmers Market, Wanda and I were ready to tackle our weekend. We had a blast lending a helping hand at the Queensbury Little League fields Saturday, and watching my "little brother's" game. Today we started our day by helping families at the Spartan Sprint and Family Fun Run. It was great to see so many parents supporting and encouraging their children to stay active. "Active bodies equal active minds." We then grabbed the boys and Abby and walked in honor of my dad at "Steps for Stroke" in Glen's Falls City Park. My dad suffered a minor stroke a few months ago and was lucky. Many stroke victims are not so lucky. We closed out our day by once again supporting our friends and their families who are affected by Autism at the "Walk for a Difference". Thank you to everyone who came out to support all of these events this weekend. I even had a chance to support one of our local heroes on my stop at Lowes.
