It was an honor and privilege for Wanda and I to attend the 6th Annual Baskets for Ben Friday night at Mean Max Brew Works. A wonderful event for a local hero. The Ben Osborn Memorial Fund's mission and hope is that the "values being learned such as: a charitable heart, work ethic, sportsmanship, leadership, discipline, and pride will be encouraged and passed on through Ben's legacy." Pretty good mission and hope. Their goal, is similar to what mine as a Family Court Judge would be, to "give kids a little lift".
